John’s Real Estate Journey
1. Where were you born?
I was born in Chevy Chase, Maryland.
2. Where did you go to college?
I attended Rollins College in Winter Park Florida. Not many people know this, but Rollins College was the first college in Florida.
3. How long have you lived in the metro DC area?
I have lived in the metro DC area all of my life.
4. What do you love most about residential real estate?
I love meeting people and finding out what their needs and wants are, and how I can best help them. I really like being an advocate for my clients and using my 35 years of experience to help them find their new dream home. I suppose you can say I like being an extroverted problem solver.
5. Of all the experiences and sales you’ve had as a Realtor, can you tell me about your most memorable or most favorite?
My favorite experience in real estate has been finding one family a new home on three separate occasions. Each time it was a joy to secure them a dream home as their family grew and their needs changed. From having young kids, to having teenagers, and then becoming empty nesters, the homes have changed to suit their stage in life. Watching them raise their family and being a small part of their journey has been a humbling experience for me.
